Lugger, trawler, cruiser, runabout, skiff, museum built, bateau, pirogue or no boat at all … whatever your preference, the Bayou Chapter was created to enhance the preservation, restoration and enjoyment of all boats in the Gulf area.

Formed in January of 2007, the Bayou Chapter is part of the Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS) and boasts close to 60 members in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

We are very active in the Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival and have quarterly functions for our members at a variety of destinations in the area. Please take the time to look at our upcoming events page, the Captains Blog, our “Scrapbook” of past functions and all of our other pages.

If you are currently a member of the Bayou Chapter, enjoy our website and I’m sure we’ll see you on the water soon. If you elect to join  our organization, we can promise you will find a warm and welcoming group that stresses informality, boating knowledge and the serious pursuit of boating fun.

If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us.
